Roqi Line - Narrative

I am a fashion designer, and I believe that Islamic, Sharia-compliant clothing is not merely a religious choice, but a refined expression of a woman’s identity and values.

At the start of my journey, I thought about designing dresses and evening gowns. But I soon realized that most of these pieces did not reflect modesty and were often worn in mixed gatherings or styled in ways that didn’t align with my principles. I then considered abayas, but found that many of them still outlined the body or included eye-catching details that clashed with the Sharia concept of dress.

The real turning point came when I traveled to the Gulf as a designer. There, I fell in love with the wide, flowing black garments—making up nearly 90% of what women wore—crafted with refined elegance and a deep respect for Sharia guidelines: not revealing, not attention-grabbing, and with any embroidery kept dark and minimal.

That’s when the idea for Roqi Line was born:
Why not offer this elevated style of Gulf abayas to Muslim women in Egypt, especially those who are conservative or wear the niqab?
Elegant black abayas, loose-fitting and Sharia-compliant—so instead of having to wait to buy them from Mecca during Umrah, women can find them right here at home, in fabrics and cuts suited to their taste and culture.

I also believe that a Muslim woman is no less beautiful or feminine than those who display their adornment publicly. She is a delicate treasure, deserving of care and elegance in her private life. That’s why I created a complete experience: every abaya comes with a simple beauty gift, a small but thoughtful gesture that celebrates her inner, quiet, and pure beauty.
